2nd Annual ‘Under the Sea’ Fundraiser

Updated: Jun 11, 2022

The 2nd annual “Under the Sea” fundraising event is the official kick-off event for Art Month South Walton and will celebrate the Underwater Museum of Art’s second voyage with a night of art, dancing, cocktails, food, and fun featuring everyone’s favorite dance band, Yacht Rock Schooner!

Enjoy complimentary food by several of South Walton’s favorite restaurants and a full cash bar and have an exclusive chance to see the UMA sculptures on land before they are deployed into the Gulf of Mexico and meet the artists who designed and created them!

The Yacht Rock Schooner throws the smoothest dance party on the high seas, taking you on a journey to a time when good-times music had heart and musical integrity. The 8-man Schooner specializes in the smooth sounds of the late ’70s and early ’80s. It’s a party that spans generations, and the band is comprised of some of Atlanta’s top players with a dual keyboard setup, multiple ace vocalists and (of course) a sax man.

All net proceeds will help fund the second deployment of twelve sculptures into the Underwater Museum of Art in 2019.
